Boquete

Boquete is a very popular destination for Panamanians escaping the heat of the lower areas, and ex-pats relocating to Panama to live. Located 25 miles east from David, and 293 miles from Panama City, it is a refreshing change from those two metropolitan areas, in both temperature and pace of living. The area offers a wide range of outdoor activities, ranging from bird watching to white water rafting and kayaking. You can also avail of biking and horseback riding, and relaxing in hot mineral springs.
