Memorial Day 2011_Saipan

The ceremony honoring the men and women who have served in the USA military was held at the CNMI Veterans Cemetery, in Marpi, on Saipan. The keynote speaker was Brigadier General John W. Doucette, Commander, 36th Wing, Installation Commander, Andersen AFB Guam. The gallery contains 177 photos; there are a few in reserve. She commented on the symbolism: the cliff standing staunch with its history above everything, with the crimson flame tree blossoms speaking of blood and war below. God bless our troops. Jack Hardy
